Birth & Postpartum Doula Services

Community-Based Birth & Postpartum Doula

Community-based birth and postpartum doula services are offered to first-time parents through insurance-covered care. This work centers on education, advocacy, and steady support throughout pregnancy, birth, and the postpartum period.

In-person birth support is available, with clear communication regarding backup doula coverage when needed. These services are offered within defined boundaries to ensure thoughtful, consistent care.

Group Education & Digital Resources

Group education and digital offerings provide accessible learning opportunities for those preparing for birth and early parenting. These resources focus on prenatal and postpartum education, offering preparation, guidance, and support in a group or self-paced format.

These offerings are open to the public and are designed to complement, not replace, individual community-based doula care.

Choosing a Doula

Choosing a doula is about choosing support that feels safe, affirming, and aligned with you. A doula’s role is to provide steady presence, education, and advocacy, helping you feel informed, supported, and grounded as you navigate one of life’s most transformative experiences. For many women, especially women of color, having culturally aware support can make a significant difference in how they feel seen, heard, and respected throughout the journey.

As a community-based doula, my role is to offer a steady presence, education, and advocacy that center your voice and honor your values. I am especially mindful of the importance of culturally grounded support and the impact it can have on helping mothers feel seen, heard, and empowered.

Doula care extends beyond the moment of birth. It includes preparation, emotional grounding, and gentle guidance as you transition into early parenting. The goal is not perfection, but support that helps you move through this season feeling informed, supported, and cared for—every step of the way.
